A Message From The Founders
Hello and welcome to Mooch. We're glad you're here. Here's a quick look at how this whole thing got started.
Six years ago we owned and operated a high tech advertising agency in Austin, Texas. Our agency was doing work for gaming companies like Bungie, Take Two Interactive, and Electronic Arts and was filled with employees who, like us, were hardcore gamers. We all shared a love of Halo, Soul Calibur and Micro Machines. We also shared a deep frustration with paying $50-70 per game, killing each of them in about 12 hours, and then only getting $8 trade-in value.
One day we decided that trading our used games with each other, and everyone else at the agency, was not a bad idea. It worked well, and over time, the concept of trading our used games with other gamers grew into Mooch.com. Now every gamer in America can trade their games without paying through the nose.
If you aren't currently trading your games, we feel your pain and invite you to join us here at Mooch. We know that once you try it and see how painless and satisfying trading your games can be, that you'll be as excited about Mooch as we are.
